COME ALONG AND SUPPORT YOUR YOUTH GROUP
Alive! Youth Group was formed in May 2006 as a result of hard work and prayer. A great deal of effort and time has been invested to see this venture on solid ground for our young people within the parish. The Youth Group has now been successfully running for over 2 years with a very good attendance from the youth inside and outside the parish. All who attend are made very welcome. The aims of the group are to provide the young people with a meeting place where they can feel relaxed and able to socialise with their school friends and also make new friends; there is an opportunity to take part in activities such as table tennis, pool, air hockey, table football, dance mats, PS2 games and Wii console games. Also traditional board games are available plus the occasional arts and crafts activities, all within a safe, caring and organised environment.

At the Saturday evening mass music is provided by guitar and recorder. The congregation does the singing, so if you enjoy singing come along and join in. This year we are planning special monthly Masses linked to the Church's year, which we hope will provide more interest, enrichment and enjoyment of the Mass. If anyone is interested in playing organ or keyboard occasionally please contact Joan Patterson. |
A small group meets on Wednesdays after the evening Mass to prepare for the liturgy. The choir is responsible for singing the Psalm and for leading the congregation in the sung parts of the Mass. Anyone with a voice is welcome to come along – we are in need of new and younger members. For further information contact Anne via the office or by email. |

Occasionally we accompany the Mass with guitars, drums and wind instruments. Anyone who plays an instrument is welcome to practise with us on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 in church. For further information contact Anne. |
