Do you feel welcomed when you come to God's house? Would you like to welcome others as they come into our Church, as you would to your own home?

Welcoming is the first Ministry; this sets the tone for the 'Celebration'. We need many more people to volunteer their time, to be one of the first to arrive and maybe the last to tidy up after Mass. There are also other responsibilities to assist the duty Minister. These include asking people to take up the collection and gifts, manning the doors for the children's liturgy and being alert for any problems that may occur.

It is a wonderful, way to get to know other people in the Parish and to welcome new parishioners, or visitors who may be feeling lost, and make them feel at home. Why not talk to one of our present welcomers and consider joining the team?
